My background investigator called me yesterday to let me know that I'm in the academy. Well, on one condition. I have a history of asthma, so the doctor is requiring me to take an exercise stress test. But, assuming I pass, I'm in the department. I've been reading threads the last few months, getting nervous the more I read, but also learning along the way, too. I'm relieved now, and really looking forward to starting my career. This is a job I've wanted my whole (24 yrs) life. Just wanted to share.
