I'm 43 and looking for information on how to pay my way to a law enforcement school/ academy in central florida / orlando area. my goal is to become a state certified officer and explore opportunities after that. Thanks for any information.

What county are you located in? All the community colleges in the Central Florida area run a basic police academy at both the full time and part time levels.

If you can not get time away from a job or due to other family constraits look into any of the state agencies.
