I'm going to guess he will say something to the effect of, "...you can run but you can't hide..."

I'm afraid to even talk to Bodie. If I were an officer I'd give myself a ticket before I'd give one to him. :o

Of course I wouldn't, as I wouldn't any other cop, but I would like to stop him, just to see if his sense of right & wrong extends to his own predicaments. :D

I don't which would be more fun....the back & forth on the side of the road or the court date with an audience. :)

I'm waiting for someone to chime in "Not only would I write him, I'd nickel and dime him for every single thing wrong with his car." :D
Does he share any of his cookies that are on the passenger seat?

Hell I would ticket Bodie. We had a Deputy here so irritated that he caused a minor wreck he had the ticket filled out in his own name before a Supervisor even arrived.
If I'm wrong write it .... I would pay it.

Awww, Bodie's a big softie if you can get through his image. To grok Bodie, you just have to speak "Gruff" fairly fluently, and be able to roll with his comments. I do both pretty well, and I actually like the big gooney-goo-goo :D

Thanks, Sarge. I'm pretty sure I could roll with his comments, in fact, I think we feel the same way about a lot of things. The only problem is that I don't do "gruff" well.

I of course would take a certain amount of joy in ticketing Bodie, but I'm not stupid, because after I wrote the ticket I know he would smash my head and body into the ground. :D ;) So I think discretion would be the better part of valor, and I would not actually write him. That way I would leave with all of my teeth in my mouth. :D :D

Do you allow a 5-10mph leeway before you cite yourself? :D

An immediate psychological evaluation would be ordered if the guy worked at my Dept.

He knew what was coming you either take the ticket or the days off back then. No one fought it. If it were summer and you wanted to go fishing you naturally took a couple of days off.

Adding days off to regular days off is a beautiful thing.
