Good starting places;

Civil Service (http://www.mass.gov/hrd/employment/civilservice.htm) - Check the exam schedules.

Commonwealth Employment Opportunities (http://ceo.hrd.state.ma.us/ceo.nsf/ceo_homepage_frm?openform) - Check occupational group "Law Enforcement".

Federal jobs (http://jobsearch.usajobs.opm.gov/series_search.asp) - Search job series 0083 (police officer).

Officer.com job search (http://www.officer.com/jobs/index.jsp) - Several MA departments advertise there.

Also check the employment sections of the colleges & universities in & around Boston....Boston University, Boston College, Harvard, Northeastern, MIT, etc.

Northeastern University is hiring police officers. The announcement states academy-trained, but with your language skills, they might be willing to sponsor you. Certainly can't hurt to apply.

I've noticed that since MA allowed people to self-sponsor themselves at the academy, almost every non-Civil Service police job requires applicants to be academy trained. Not good, unless you have the means to self-sponsor.

I heard that they no longer allow self sponsers... not even for the reserve/intermittent academy.

Could be, I'm not really up on that. When I went through, you had to be employed by a PD and receive a full-time paycheck. As a result, having academy certification was a much more valuable commodity back then.
