A friend of mine was wondering how much and what kind of math is on the civil service exam?

pretty simple and they give you a calculator, no worries

Sort of but you have to make it up as you go really. A few of the questions are word problems and you will need some algebra skills but nothing fancy just read and re-read the questions. Bone up on your english definitions like Adjective, Pronoun, etc as their are a few of those on there also which is most likely where I lost my points.
