Utah.. Iam a tribal police officer in South Florida for the Seminole Indians. Formerly a Dept. Of Defense Police officer in orlando and Edgewood city police officer (a suburb of Orlando).

Danmann I heard it from a Florida ABT agent who was working in 1of our casinos last night.

Hi there OrlandoFED. I see you work for Seminole Police. I applied about 2 weeks ago at their Hollywood Station. I got a letter about 3 days later saying that I would be contacted when my application came up for review. Is this the standard procedure? Also how happy are you with the department, I've heard good things about it! I've also heard that you hiring process is very "FAST" and the "important" thing to pass is the polygraph. Can you tell me a little bit about the process?

Another thing, I applied to ABT and was called for an interview at the Miami Office within 3 days of applying for Special Agent. Just curiosity, do you know what gun they issue their agents-Sig, Glock? I would greatly appreciate the response, especially regarding Seminole police.
