Smaller PD's / SO's East TX

Hi guys, I was hoping someone could recommend a good department that might be hiring in the East TX area. I would prefer to work at a smaller sized agency with a good reputation. I was considering the Athens/Mabank/Kemp/Canton area. Even someone employed in these areas that I could perhaps converse with about some of the local agencies would be of great help. Hello, I live in California and I'm currently a peace officer here. I'am looking to relocate back to Texas, where I'm orginally from. I have been a peace officer here for approximately 4 yrs. I also hold a jail certificate here as well. My question is does anyone know who is hiring and what is the best books to use on studing for the TECLOSE test.
