Hello to all,
I am new here at this forum.
I clock up 16 yrs this month with The Australian Customs Service.
I am also very much into Colonial Crime history and the saga of Ned Kelly and his Last Stand at Glenrowan.
Regards Glenrowan1880.

Welcome to Officer.com

There are other Customs Officers from various parts of the world who are also members of these Forums and I am sure that they will make themselves known to you.

P/S - Here's a story of another Kelly. ;)

Senior Constable John Kelly (http://www.glenrowan1880.com/kelly.htm)

Cheers.

Nah, but I have driven a friends car that was set up like that. It was a Fairlady Z that he brought over from Japan. Its not too bad. ;)

Thanks for the many welcome messages!
John, do you have the same length beard as your 1880 counterpart?
He almost got himself shot at Glenrowan too.
Interesting to see you found that page on Snr Const Kelly as there are not many sites showing info about the police from that era.
I hope I do hear from some Customs officers around the world, pretty much the same sort of work no matter where you are.

I have never been to The Alice ftlaudcop, but recently spent time in the WA outback. That was a change from city life, no people and 58 degrees celcius.
Thanks for the welcome Whitewolf1970.

Ten years in The Alice, hmm, I'll bet your brother could tell you a tale or two. ;)

Cheers.
