Actually, it's my hometown. It's where I got my first deputy job. I got a better paying/benefits in a bigger county sheriff's office. Then the govt started a new program 2 years ago called BIA/SD Highway Safety, and a year later, I applied so I could be back in my Hometown and I have been at this job for now alittle over a year now.

My friend who moved back with me is also originally from here, we graduated from the same high school, he landed a Highway Patrol job of 2003 and assigned back to his hometown (the same town I'm originally from) and at the same time I applied to the Highway Safety because I failed the hearing test on the Highway Patrol, Highway Safety had no requirement on hearing. I lost a few db in my right ear from a gun shot blast while working in a bigger city deputy sheriffs office. So yes I see him only when he's on duty or if there's an accident in the main county I work in, if requested (most times not needed bc highway patrol specialize in accidents too). I help and cover 5 counties. I am assigned to 2 counties, which includes my hometown county. So yes I see my friend while working, but not for fun.

Go down to additional options click on manage attachments. Where it says file to upload, look right. Click on browse. Go to the folder that the pic is saved in. Make sure you have the complete folder i.e. c:\my documents\my pics\easy e1. Or what have you. Select pic and double click. You will be diverted to the manage attachments window. Hit upload. If your pic is to large, go to file manager, open the pic. If you have Paint Shop Pro, you can edit and resize the photo. If you don't have PSP, you should still be able to do it, but I probably can't walk you through it.

LOL - It means pixels per inch! You will need to resize your picture to 300x600! Somewhere in one of these threads it mentions a web-site where you can load it to there and change the size pretty easy - If I can find it I will PM it to you.

Okay you are no longer allowed to talk about your weather!! 4" of snow so far - have I mentioned that I HATE snow!!!

TX let me sum up my Texas visit: Driving from Phx, AZ to Lohn, TX. With a 2 year old and my husband in a Ford Escort with my Mom inlaw, dad inlaw bro and sis in law! That in itself is awful! Then we get to Lohn and we spend 5 days with friends of hubbies family inthis little farm house - my 2 year old screamed bloody murder the entire time - she didn't like anyone else besides mommy! Make matters better - the family we stayed with has a grown daughter that my husband used to be infatuated with - and I knew this because hubby and I were friends during this infatuation! So not only is my child being the devil, but I am having to prove, as us women do, that I AM the better women! Holy crap I couldn't get out of the great state of TX fast enough!!! But we spend one day in San Antonio - the firs thing I did was go to Fat Tuesdays and get HAMMERED!!!! LOL -that was the longest week of my life - oh yeah and it was Chrsitmas, the first one I spent away from MY family!!

TX let me sum up my Texas visit: Driving from Phx, AZ to Lohn, TX. With a 2 year old and my husband in a Ford Escort with my Mom inlaw, dad inlaw bro and sis in law! That in itself is awful! Then we get to Lohn and we spend 5 days with friends of hubbies family inthis little farm house - my 2 year old screamed bloody murder the entire time - she didn't like anyone else besides mommy! Make matters better - the family we stayed with has a grown daughter that my husband used to be infatuated with - and I knew this because hubby and I were friends during this infatuation! So not only is my child being the devil, but I am having to prove, as us women do, that I AM the better women! Holy crap I couldn't get out of the great state of TX fast enough!!! Girl, don't feel bad. I have a charlie horse in the back of my hamstring that just won't quit! I sit down from 8-5 mon-fri, but from friday night at 11pm-9am I was on my feet. then went home, slept 3 hours , went back to work til midnight Sat, back to bed for a few hours, back up by 6am, back home , slept 2 hours, and back to work til midnight!

Aww these things happen girl! I remember when my daughter was about 6 months old she wouldnt drink anything so I had to take her to the ER they had to run an IV on her it was very rough. They just have only one way to express how crappy they feel and thats honery, she will be better soon but you may wanna take her in just to be safe.

Actually, she has not had a fever for 2 days, which is good. It was responding to meds, so that was good. Now she just has the gunky cough and that can mean a number of things. She usually wants to go see her doctor because she always gets a sticker...but today, she said she was fine and wanted to stay here and not see her doctor...funny.

Thanks...as far as appointments go....no problem with that. And if I were to get sick..really, really sick and they did not ahve appointments available, i would just go to the E.R. I dont have a spleen so that puts me in the "more vulnerable"category....whatever that means.

She just came up to me right now with her hands on her head telling me her head hurt.......then...after about 5 minutes of holding her head, she said she wanted to see her Kitty cat movie...so she is fine now. She has episodes of feeling fine followed by "Oh my aching head" bouts. The stupid nurse has not called so I am going to....I swear....

I hate doctors too..Naturally, no one is good to be good enough for your kid.
When my daughter was first born, I called in her pediatrician to meet Sadie and me and my husband.
She went to see my daughter while I was getting showered and stuff then met me in the hallway when I was walking to the nursery. The first thing she said was HI, I'm Dr...I'm afraid that your daughter is a hermaphadite..(A he-she)..I about passed out in hte hallway. She continued "Your daughter has testicles and no uterus..I am sending her to ultrasound to co nfirm it."
YEAH, no ****!!
Long story-short: Nothing is wrong with my daughter. She is a healthy, normal little girl. THis doc was fresh out of medical school, saw that my daughter's vagina was swollen (due to increase hormones after delivery) and said all that...
Imagine hearing that BS, just delivering, YOUR hormones out of control, exhausted...
I wrote a written complaint to her boss for her demeanor, etc.
Now, I have to work with her occasionally for my job...She kisses my ***..Rightly so.


You have got to be joking..what a numb skull. I remember that feeling after having her..feeling so tired and helpless. She had to go have some shots...PKU Hep B ...that stuff and my husband took her...I was so tired.

He came back to my room without her and I freaked out, started crying.... he explained that there was a wait and he had just left her with the nurse...big no-no- in my book..i made him go back and wait with her and I cried the whole time he was gone. That was his first dose of insane mother delirious from hormones. Well, I mean after 27 hours of labor, what did he want.......epidural or not..I was tired and way over dosed on natural hormones. It hurt to walk, it hurt to sleep....what to do.

Last night was the longest I ever drove in a 8 hr shift, 75 miles. My old place, my zone was only about 5 sq. miles. Lots of call to call stuff,35 40 miles was ok. Now if ya dont do at least 50+ its not enough, we did 135 a few weeks ago...

Last night was the longest I ever drove in a 8 hr shift, 75 miles. My old place, my zone was only about 5 sq. miles. Lots of call to call stuff,35 40 miles was ok. Now if ya dont do at least 50+ its not enough, we did 135 a few weeks ago...

I drive an average of 215 miles per shift. Reason is because I cover 2 counties. The highest I've had was 346 miles I think, That was because I had to go to the farthest end of the 5 counties to a fatal accident of a Hit and Run situation. But normally 215 is my average per nite.

That's my job to make them FEEL younger. Besides, it's not like I don't get hit on by younger/older women on traffic stop .. heck even drunks. I had a 53 year old woman (DRUNK) tell me how she'd like to do to me while sittin in the back of the cage... ALL recorded on Cam and audio too! (BLECH!)

LOl I am turning 35 and I dont feel anything like an older woman hello I still feel like I did when I was 25 just wish the body was still looking like 25 LOL I will be in tip top shape here soon as I can stop working a 48 hour week and have some time to actually manage in a workout , laundry, and housecleaning. I NEED A MAID!! I wish they had Maids like the ones they have for men that wear french maid outfits except have them for men in like chippendale outfits!! LOL a cabana boy would be great!! LOL My hubby flirts with housewives all day long while putting in thier wood flooring!! I dont get flirted with in person lol so over then net is cool!!

I hear ya on the no time to work out thing........no day off in 3 weeks and working between 70-80 hours a week lately is killing me! At least I sit 8-5...

I feel better now than I did at 25!! Much better shape - lower weight - had that confirmed on Friday what a happy moment that was!! I think for me when I started having the over 30 thing happen (you know what I mean :D ) I wanted to be able to look good to go along with the feeling!! Now I jsut don't have enough time to eat so.......

I used to have a maid - not in oe of those outfits :( - but damn it was great!!!
