Hmmm, rode motors in my early days (Big red "S" on my chest) in L.A., then a few years back came to the mountains to get away from the big city. City life was good when a youngster. Mountain life is a slower pace and easier on an old guy. Worked narcotics and auto theft investigations in between and now settled back where I belong...on the road. Hoping I can make it to thirty and then pull the pin. :)

Hmmm, rode motors in my early days (Big red "S" on my chest) in L.A., then a few years back came to the mountains to get away from the big city. City life was good when a youngster. Mountain life is a slower pace and easier on an old guy. Worked narcotics and auto theft investigations in between and now settled back where I belong...on the road. Hoping I can make it to thirty and then pull the pin. :)

Ok there is a officer who is in Arbitration right now and by the Order of the PBA contract they have to keep a position open for him incase his trail clears him and he is able to come back to work. They need to have the man power so instead they are offering me what is called a provisional Officer position .. meaning temporary. I would be actually considered a SCAB by union standards. But this way instead of having me do auxilliary and getting picked up by another agency I will be getting paid and working and training as an officer. Now should the guy win his case and come back sooner then a position is open then I will be switched back to Auxilliary and working for free LOL I guess its a win win situation and at this point its a foot in the door for me so I am going to just go with the flow.
