Blind Justice is that new detective show on ABC... the main character was blinded during a bank robbery or something, I am not sure on that part.
I saw it for the first time tonight.
Any thoughts?

What a great show, before seeing the previews to blind justice I thought that blindness might be a barrier to employment in law enforcement. I was happy to find that I was mistaken

This was just a bit out of the real spectrum of what can and cant be done in law enforcement. These people should have kept NYPD Blue on instead. If this show is on for more than 3 mos. then I will be very surprised.

I was flippin back and forth between that and Law and Order..
So I didn't get too much of either show!
But from what I did see of it, it was trying to show how he was struggling with it to TRY to be able to still do his job.

It might last 6 weeks or so and then get cancelled . And to think that is the level of show they replaced NYPD with.

Guys and Gals, I know a lot of people on here didn't like NYPD Blue or especially Andy Sipowicz, but I absolutely LOVED that damn show. LOL. I thought it was best with Andy and Bobby though. That new show they replaced it with.....will crash and burn. I watched Blue every Wednesday morning after my shift (the wife taped it for me) and daily on TNT. So sad to see it gone.

I haven't seen it, but it can't be any further out of the "real spectrum" than any of the CSI's... Sorry, personal pet peeve... and they have all lasted way too long.
Anybody else noticed that Juries expect to see this crap IRL, and don't think the job was done right when they don't?
Hell, we had SUPERVISORS that expected it, too.

I don't claim to kmow more than the ABC executives but WTF were they thinking? A blind cop?
There's only so many storylines could you wring out of that premise anyway.
Every episode will probably unfold as follows:
Victim gets killed-
Blind cop assigned to case-
Fellow cops/victim's family openly skeptical-
Blind cop uses his amazing senses of smell and hearing (or other "blind guy powers") to solve said case-
Victim's family/co- workers are impressed.
