I like the show but don't watch it regularly. The last episode I saw must have been an end-of-season show. At the end they were all fired. Then they showed previews of next season and all the replacements were exactly the same type of person (handsome black guy, bossy black woman, slutty white girl, etc.). Martin Mull played the part of the replacement Dangle. It was funny, but I didn't know if it was a joke or not.

I was excited when the show first came out because I've been a devoted COPS fan for years. So a spoof of COPS seemed long overdue. But the first couple of episodes I watched seemed sort of lame, so I stopped watching. In time I caught a few more and I have to say the show gets funnier every time you watch it.

Of course part of my original objection to the show might have had to do with the fact that I had been working as a cop for less than a year. Now that I've got a little more time in, I see the show isn't so far-fetched.

Just wait 'till you get closer to retirement. You'll see a lot of these people as "spot-on"! :D

Civilians just can't understand how close to the truth Reno911 is.

It takes a few episodes to grow on you.

Awesome show! :)

I like watching the show if I have time. I have seen that Rap Vid earlier last year. It has been around for awhile. I have been watching more of COPS and World's wildest police videos on FX lately. Cops seem to have more and more new ones every other week or so.

Sorry, but those Wildest Police Videos **** me off with all of the dubbed in sound and radio transmissions.

How can all police dispatchers sound alike?

I watched one that re-enacted a car chase/shooting. How can you tell? they used in-car footage to stop a white Sunbird, then it majically turned into handheld camera work on a white Toyota.

It was one of the Bennell narrated shows. I can't be positive, but I don't think the County existed in Ga that the incident was supposed to have happened in, either.

I love those sound effects with the screaching tires!! I also love when Bennell tell the public how the Officer was feeling at certain points in time. How the hell does he know what that particular officer was thinking at that moment. I also like how every situation they show is deemed "A cops worst nightmare". Back on topic Reno 911 is great. The last few shows of the past season were great, i like when they beat the guy in the cup suit at his request.

I love it....the only thing I don't get is why do they keep saying "Reno SD"?

I think they use Reno SD because it doesn't actually exist. Reno Police and Washoe County SD are the real one's in the area. Guess they didn't want to offend anyone too badly
