Right now they are only babies, but we will see when they get bigger....They then might be able to eat a cat...lol...My apartment doesnt allow household pets, so I wonder what these would qualify as...lol....coworkers say vermin :D

You might try to ask an owner for a permission, I'm sure they are allowed as smallest pets; hamsters, rats, birds, and fish. But make sure the date of fumigation service will be so you can take your pets with you. :)

Vermin, I agree! Apartment people shouldn't have a problem with them as long as they don't know about them! :D

Yea thats my theroy....My coworkers bought a couple of female rats from the pet store and apparently one was already knocked up...So it ended up having babies and they well were going to give them a nice home at the park...So I had to save em.... :o But I think 6 or so still went to be owl food :(
Thank goodness for 24 hour entry notice...Actually I was going to ask the landlady about hamsters/fish...I mean fish can be household pets as well... So we will see...If not my other half would take em from me in a second...

Where I live, I can have up to 3 cats and two hamsters.. funny, I have to take them to the animal hospital to stay there for a night or two and brought my hamsters to next door neighbor when this apartment get fumigated. Eewww....After all those cleaning, I brought all 5 back here. :p Not bad for a lot of work each year. :D

I think if those rats could talk they'd use a few profanities about your choice of names. :D
I don't have rats as pets, I see enough of them at work. I have a good friend who raises them but the bad news (for the rats) is that they're food for his 40+ collection of snakes. Let me know if you get sick of them...they can be the Special of the Day. ;)

Well dogs are good, but I don't have time for the attention to give, at least with Poppi and Oreo they have time with each other when I am not around and I dont have to take them outside to poop and pee....
