I'm thinking there is a shotgun in the car, and a turkey on the table! :)

Heh, I remember having to rescue my mom from an irate Tom Turkey about 13 years ago.
I got this frantic phonecall where I just remember hearing my mom say "Get over here, bring your gun, he's trying to get in!!!"
I grabbed my buddy Shane, and my Desert Eagle, charged over to her place, and was confronted w/ this big Tom on the front porch, who was attacking the storm door every time someone came near it. He evidentally came from the woods behind her house
It wasn't anywhere near Thanksgiving, so I didn't want to kill the bird if I didn't have to, but DAMN he was big! His feet were almost as big as my hands.
So, I approached the porch, waved my arms and hollered "HYAAAAHHH!" to scare him off.
The bird tilted his head and gave me the StinkEye...
I said ok, and stomped toward the bird, trying to intimidate him.
The bird ducked his head and took a step toward ME!
"BLAAAAM!!!"
The bird rocked off balance, glared at me, and took a couple more steps toward me...
I said "Holy @$%*(!!!)" "BLAM! BLAM! BLAM!"
He hit the concrete, and I ran up, kicked him into the yard, and emptied the magazine for good measure!
I'm pretty sure now, that wild turkeys should be lumped into the same class with Grizzly bears when it comes to ammo stopping power!
Vindictive bird!
