I'm in Washington State and lately it seems that all depts. are contracting out with PublicSafetyTesting.com to do all of their physical and prelim. written tests. Anyone out there take this test recently? Thanks!!!

I am in the same boat, I haven't taken the test yet, but I am signed up for Feb. 13th or something like that. I have the study guide and if it is anything like that it should be pretty easy.

I agree, there seems to be a lot of departments going to that lately. Luckily, I didn't have to go through that process for Yakima. They have another standardized test for the DOC and YPD. One thing I DID notice was the cost difference. Why is it 45 now instead of 20?

I have taken this test before and the dept. that I'm testing for requires a much higher score than publicsafetytestings's minumum score. I agree though, the math and reading is incredibly easy, but it's the 45 question psych. part of it that is ridiculous. It is nothing like an MMPI and I know I ace the reading and math but this part drops me down right to the cusp of acceptable which is ridiculous. I just don't think they should be doing this feature at this part of the test.
