Regardless of who wins the election tomorrow night, we have reached the end of an era in American history.
It makes me very irritated that there is close polling in this election. Go back about 30 years ago and there would be no doubt about who would be president in a time of war.
It just has been a part of American politics to not 'change the cart midstream' during times of war and yet half of the American people think we should.
Even if Gore was president and we were at war with these terrorists, I'd support him. But regardless, our nation is so polarized we may vote ourself into defeat from terrorism...
