I don't know what to tell you about all that other stuff (except that you should look pressed and professional but feel COMFORTABLE) but I think a low-key pinstripe is okay for the interview...the suit I wore to my interview had a thin pinstripe and it went over fine in a very conservative county!

As someone who sits on interview panels, it doesn't matter what you wear as long as it looks professional, clean and well pressed. As far as make-up, keep it to a minimum. You don't have to go for the total natural look, but don't try for the Tammy-Faye Baker look, either. Good lick.
