It's funny how sometimes when we lose something we realize how much it actually meant to us. I always like seeing lists like this, they bring that warm fuzzy feeling..

Here it goes! feel free to add your own lists!

I'm Thankful For:

-Family
-Good Friends
-"The Good Times" that you look back on and can't help but smile at.
-Animals, sometimes it amazes me how much devotion and love an animal can have for someone
-The fact that every day is New. A day to change, a day to enjoy, a day to start fresh, a day to live.
-Music, aint nothin like good booty shakin'
-Freedom
-Nature, earth is a pretty amazing place if i do say so.
-Politics....Just Kidding!
-Heroes, I'm not talkin about the ones in movies or comic books, but the real life heroes who inspire you every day to be a better person.
-Trust, its an amazing thing to give, but even more amazing to receive.
-Love, c'mon :o)

to that list up there, I am thankful for

Being alive after almost dying 9 years ago; for the chance to wake up every day and teach my daughter new things, to see her smile and laugh at me, to be there to comfort her when she needs me.

My husband and all the energy he puts into working hard for us and for loving us like he does. Even for the times he argues with me; keeps me on my toes and many times makes me realize that I really am wrong about something.

My parents for loving me no matter what; for teaching me how to be a responsible, loving adult, for their laughs and smiles and for my mom when she plays with my hair to help me sleep..just like when I was a kid. (Now, I miss my mommy) And for helping me learn how to be a good parent.

My husbands parents for having and nurturing the man I adore and for teaching him how to be a good person, parent and spouse.

My siblings and cousins for being there if I need them; to help me laugh, hold my hand when I am sad....just being family.

For my dear grandparents; for coming to this country and helping me learn to respect it and teaching me what pride is all about while still teaching me to love their country of origin; mostly for being part of creating my awesome family. And for TRADITION!

Birds chirping...waterfalls, crickets cricking.....sounds that help me relax.

Isn't that the most wonderful thing.....watching your little one learn something new; ours is getting to the stage of getting angry when she cant do whatever she is trying. We are all learning how to be patient in this household. Its amazing what someone so little and innocent can teach you about yourself!:D

1. My husband for all he does for us and for the love he gives us.
2. My kids
3. My job
4. Grace
5. My Mother & Father, for loving me after all the crap I put them through when I was a teenager.
6. Good memories of my childhood
7. Friends
8. Watching my children learn how to do new things, making friends and saying first words.
9. Hearing my daughters little voice saying "I wuv you Mommy".
10. I am thankful that God has given me the time, resources, energy and will to help people who need help.
I'm probably forgeting some other important things but these are on the top of my list.

What am I thankful for? Absolutley nothing.

I'd prefer to focus on changing the things that I am not thankful for. Being thankful is like masturbating-it might be self gratifying, but it doesn't accomplish much of anything.

A 19-year-old College student with nothing to be thankful for? How about being thankful for the opportunity to go to a school of your choice, to study what you want, to be whatever you choose? How about being thankful for whoever it was that instilled in you the value of education? If being thankful is as useless as masturbation to you, you truly haven't experianced much in life beyond masturbation.

BEER!:D

No seriously. I have a two year old boy who is just a joy to watch as he runs around the house non-stop......and a pain in the butt to clean up after he has terrorized the house.

I have a seven year old daughter who is an honor student....with an attitude problem.

With me, it is my kids as well,
My 3 year old son recently stopped wearing pull-ups and urinates in the toilet. For about 3 weeks, he sat to pee. Recently, He called me to the bathroom, he was standing up at the toilet, pants and underwear dropped to his ankles, and exclaimed, "I peed like Daddy" Although my pants and underwear usually are not dropped to my ankles, I knew what he meant.
My 8 year old daughter is taking gymnastics. Doing better now, although at first it appeared she inherited my lead feet and had difficulty with cartwheels. She too, has a bit of an attitude problem. 8 years old, going on 16.
They are both truly blessings from God.
Their mother, my wife of 21 years is pretty special too.
I am thankful for all 3
