The City of Oak Ridge Tennessee Police Department is recruiting to fill vacanies and future openings for the position of Police Officer/Police Officer Trainee.
Starting Salary Range is $29,746 for Police Officer, Police Officer Trainee is $26,948.
Min Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equiv
At least 18 yoa
Excellent physical condition/weight in proportion to height
Honoroble Discharge from Military Service
Able to pass psychological exam
Excellent moral character
Free of criminal conviction records
Have or able to obtain TN driver's license
Applicants meeting the above qualifications are eligible to take the written test. Other selection procedures include physical agility test, oral interview, psychological exam, background investigation, medical evaluation, and drug screening.
