I am looking for first-hand information regarding the United States Capitol Police and the United States Secret Service Uniformed Division. I am currently a municipal Officer in North Carolina for an agency of 1,700 sworn personnel. I am interested in learning the spectrum of day-to-day activities undertaken by each agency, how they are viewed by other law enforcement agencies, any negative issues associated with them, etc.
I would like to be able have more in-depth conversations with any personnel from either of these agencies. I am considering applying with one of these agencies and would like to be able to make the most informed decision possible. E-mails can be sent to:
