Greetings: I wanted to call attention to anyone who might be interested in a book I wrote concerning street survival with a gun.
The name of the book is "Stay Alive." It's about how to street fight with a pistol. The web page is http://www.officerstayalive.com

I would love to have some feed-back from visitors to my web site, as to whether or not the description about my book would arouse any interest from current law enforcement officers.

Sincerely,
W.L.

Just printed the order form...check's in the mail.

As your site mentioned, many of the skills currently taught come out of competitive shooting disciplines, that sadly don't always relate to street scenario. Col Cooper discussed at length the importance of replicating real life as much as possible in a training environment.

As a DT instructor, I have seen hundreds of techniques called "Street Effective" that looked more like they were dreamed up on the mat and never tested against a combatant bent on inflicting destruction. Adrenalin Dump, limited mobility and size differentials play such important roles, yet are often overlooked by "dojo champions".

I look forward to reading the text and will route it to our firearms instructors for their review as well. Response will be forwarded to you directly.

Regards,
Kev
