The City of Warrenville, a growing community located along the I-88 high-tech
corridor, announces by the Warrenville Board of Fire and Police Commissioners
commencing with a mandatory Orientation Session on Monday, September 8, 2003,
7:00pm at Bower School. Applicants must meet the following requirements: 1.
Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen. 2. Applicant must have a high school/GED diploma.
3. Applicant must be over 21 years of age to apply, but not older than 35, at time of
appointment. (20 years of age permitted with successful completion of 2 years law
enforcement studies at accredited institution.). 4. Vision: 20/100 binocular corrective
to 20/20. Must demonstrate appropriate peripheral vision. No color blindness. 5.
Successful completion of the following: a. Orientation, b. Written Test, c. Physical
Ability Test, d. Oral Interview, e. Background Investigation, f. Polygraph Test, g.
Final Oral Interview, h. Post Offer of Employment Psychological Test, i. Post Offer of
Employment Full Medical Examination. The City of Warrenville offers a competitive
starting salary, provides all equipment and uniforms along with a complete benefit
package. Application packages are not mailed out. They must be picked up at:
