Maybe the NYPD has a Retirement Village there?:D

You know, I tell ya, If they had a special retirement village here for NYPD guys it would probably be full! ;) The warm weather and no taxes on pensions makes it good for our money and our injuries. The cold and shoveling gets to your bones.

I am a member of the FOP and I attend meetings at my local lodge and I am surprised at the number of retired NYPD there. But in a department of 40,000 officers I guess we will show up just about everywhere eventually. You can't swing a dead cat without hitting a retired NYPD guy somewhere.
