MA Civil Service Question?

I got my results back and I passed the MA Civil Service exam (Police entrance test). I was wondering if any one knew what a competative score is (One that someone would probably get hired with)?

PS I listed Holbrook, Easton, Brockton, and MBTA on the preference list!

If you are a white male, non- veteran you better have scored at least a 98 or better and that is for the town/city in which you get "residency preference". You pretty much can forget about getting hired anyplace else unless you are a vet or minority candidate.

If you are looking to get a Police Academy on your resume you should check out the big college PD's in/around Boston- Harvard, BC, BU, UMass, Northeastern campus cops all go through a full-time academy.
