There are a few other New Zealanders about the place, they are usually pretty quiet but all of a sudden they all seem to becoming out of the woodwork - I wonder why?

Loved NZ when we visited. We made quite a stir, as we were returning from the World Pistol Championships in the land of OZ, and had our pistols with us.
The police took our guns when we landed at Christchurch, and shipped them to Aukland for us. When we got to the airport, the officers all wanted to see what we had! They were carrying .38 revolvers in a holster shaped to look like a cite book, so as not to shock travellers. I'll bet that has changed since 9-1-1.
The police were OK, but I got hurt there, and found the health care facilities quite dated. Came out OK though.
