I'm selling my Kustom Golden Eagle Radar that I just purchased. This unit was just calibrated in May 03 and is in excellent working and comsmetic condition. This unit has a small Ka band front antenna and a K band rear antenna. Selling my personal unit due to my dept now providing each squad with one. Make me an offer and we'll go from there.

I wish I had time to run radar. But if you know anyone who is selling a hand held unit let me know. I dont get the same car every day and It would b nice to have a radar unit at my disposal since I actually went and got certified the other week.

If your looking to buy a hand held. Check out ebay search under kustom radar, decatur radar, stalker radar, etc. You can usually find one pretty cheap. Otherwise go to www.pbelectronics.com they specialized in refurbished radar and have all sorts to choose from. Hope this helps.

You guys are actually buying your own radar? Who services them, and who pays for it? I think this is going WAY BEYOND the "call of duty." If your department wants you to use radar, let THEM spring for them.

Well I would be reimbursed. And none of our cars have radar in them, nor do I have the time to even use it usually. However it is a good tool to get into a car if your otherwise stumped.

But I agree with you, that is a little much but if I'm getting paid back I really dont mind. The stainless steel falcons that are floating around for use kinda suck.

As for the service. The department covers all that.
