For all those interested in fitness for work, I started training with kettlebells about 6 months ago. Having had a keen interest in keeping fit for work, I have benn training with free weights since I jo9ined the Police in '97. I can honestly say that nothing has been of greater benefit to me than kettlebells. If you don't know what they are, they look like a cannonball with iron purse handles attached. The strong men of yesteryear used tham a great deal and they are now making a come back. Check out dragondoor.com for more info. Hope this helps. The best of health to you all.

Is it hard to learn to use them?

No, it's not too difficult. Even those who have no knowledge of weight lifting can easily pick up the drills. The good thing about them is that they are so portable. When I'm day shift (0700-1500) I often take them in and do a 20-25 minutes blitz workout, the sweat you get up is incredible. I can easliy reach my max heart rate within a few minutes of starting. If you have been training with weights at all, the drills are even easier to pick up. Hope this helps. Post again if I can help any more.
