Are there any officers here who work for the York Regional Police in Ontario? This is the force I am hoping to apply for in September.

They have many great officers working there. When I worked in Toronto area I had involvement with them but mainly with their tact team and detective units. I never had a bad experience with them. Go for it!!! If you have any specific question(s) fire away and I'll see if I can answer, or get you the answer, or get you a contact....Whew! Anything for a fellow Canadian! (I'll have to dig up an old hotmail email address for stuff like this!!) http://www.officer.com/ubb/smile.gif
I should mention that I am away tomorrow till Friday so if you answer I probably won't be able to get back to you till Friday!

Thanks WW,
I have one contact there. He is one of the Communications Sgts. and is a great inspiration. I also work with their VICARS program and have met a few of the guys/gals from York and OPP. I also worked with a lot of guys when I did LP and it was one of the main reasons for wanting to go out for them. They seemed to have a lot less political BS as opposed to those poor buggers with TPS.

My email is in my profile. I am the founder of that club and my alter ego is steel_bracelets
