Are there other obsessive types on this forum..
when you miss a workout do you try to make up for it the next day? Or if you know you won't be able to workout on a particular day do you try to do extra before or after? For instance, if you run 3 miles a day every day, 7 days a week and you miss a day, do you try to run 6 miles one day to make up for it? or am I the only one like this?

If I miss a workout, I don't make it up and just wait until the next one. One missed workout every now and then won't set you back.
If it is becoming a common occurrence, figure out why. Is it due to a busy schedule not allowing sufficient time for training, burnout from overtraining, burnout from needing some variety in the workouts or lack of interest?

I'm not obsessive about it. I do the best I can.
i didnt used to work 40 hours a week, now i do. so it's a big change for me. i do a light-weights workout 3 days a week, and an "aerobic" one the other 3 days, with a day of rest. i still walk everyday with the dog, but i have to be careful with that because of my knee.
my aerobic one isnt really "dance," its an old Susan Powter video that uses your muscles. i love it. if i miss one day, i just go back on schedule the next.

I eat chocolate because I'm so discouraged. Then I blow it the next day and figure "it doesn't matter" and the next day and the next day...

PM me guys I'm a personal trainer and I'm hoping to become a departmental training officer. Maybe we can support each other?
