Has anyone ever done this and if so does it work?

For those not familiar, it's a work out challenge where you send in a before picture then follow the work out program for three months and send in an after photo. I found it too late to do the actual challenge, but the work out routine looked like something I can go with.

It's designed for 5 days with a day of legs, a day of pushes, a day of pulls and two days of abs. Each day has one of three cardio programs.

It also includes a fitness regimine.

I'm not looking for results like a Mr. Olympia...or an ATeamer for that matter. I'm just looking to get toned, pick up a little extra lean muscle and loose my next 20-25 pounds.

I know a couple guys who tried to do it, The workout is good and it'll get you in shape, just remember not to go into "Pull" day tired or demotivated. It's more important than push day for your body in general. You can't see the results as easily but your posture and shoulders will appreciate it.

Heh Heh, pull day...

Lawdog. Do you have a link for that? I'd be intersted in taking a look at it.

Here's the Muscle and Fitness Magazine home page. Look for the "2003 Rock Hard Challenge" Link towards the top.

The challenge itself is in pdf format. Just click on the "Month One" or "Month Two" and it will bring it up.

I was going to start last week, but my work partner is the 16 year old across the street, so I have to wait until he gets out of school.

Cool program. The food part would kill me. Me eating habits are my down fall.

Maybe we should come up an O.com fitness challenge.
