So I bought a hellfighter x-15 for a duty light because it was supposed to be bomb proof, and it broke pretty much the first day I used it. Does anyone have one of these, and are they decent lights. I'm hoping my experience is unique and the next one they send functions correctly.

I was distracted by matte black and a glass break bezel when i bought it
I went to their website and clicked on the "About Us" link. It gave no info on the company at all, just an over hyped ad about how great their light is.
Then I searched CPF and found that they are a subsidiary of an advertising company, so the rhetoric made sense. But still over hyped.

Crotch? He Says As He Tilts His Head In A Puzzled Fashion
Dayum, I must have been in the REALLY Old Corps. Back in "the OLD days" we often referred to the Corps as "The Crotch".
Get it? The Corps = the Crotch?
Oh well, guess you woulda had ta been there. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v25/cajunguy/teehee.gif
Anyhoo, Semper Fi my brother.

Your bad experience is not unique.
Dark Ops are better known by 'Dork Ops' if that tells you anything.
They are very well known for being masters of hype and propaganda, but not delivering on their products.
