Who Should Attend

Full time Law Enforcement
Officers, Canine handlers, trainers and administrators of departments not presently utilizing patrol dog teams, but are anticipating the implementation of such teams.

Instructor

CHARLES KIRCHNER: Retired after 20 years of service as canine instructor for the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington DC and now 20 years in the private industry! With 40 years of experience it is hard to match the qualifications of this distinguished instructor. He is a certified trainer and a trusted certified expert witness in eight states in the training, deployment and use of canines for law enforcement. He is featured in an instructional narcotic detector dog training video series and is an author of numerous articles including a book on canine management. He is a DEA permit holder and member of numerous law enforcement organizations.
