Corrections K-9

I am a detention officer in Fl. My jail is looking to start a K-9 unit. I would like to hear from anyone who has information about corrections K-9 units: training, daily routine, etc..

What kind of a unit are they trying to start? I ran bloodhounds for several years for my department. If this is something you are interested in let me know and I'll get you all the help I can.
