Oh, I got one for you! Lately, I'm reading news stories about a disturbance or fighting in a bar, there in your country. And it reads as though the bar is somehow related to or located close to a hotel.

Do your bars have to do business in hotels or can they stand alone within their own buildings?

Ok, I'll bite on this one. What is "julip?" Is it something like "pruno?"

'Julip', aka 'jailhouse gin'. It's homemade booze made from any fruit, bread, sugar, potato peelings, etc that the inmates can steal/buy from the kitchen.

OK JIM OUR HOTELS ARE CALLED PUBS YES WE HAVE BARS BUT USUALLY THE TRENDIES GO TO THEM IE..WINE BARS ETC AND ALSO HAVE BARS IN THE NIGHT CLUBS WE ALSO CALL HOTELS WHICH HAVE BOTTLE SHOPS THE GROG SHOP NEARLY EVERY AUSSIE TOWN HAS A HOTEL OR 20..LOL..AND USUALLY ON A CORNER NAMES SUCH AS THE STATION HOTEL ,COMMERCIAL, THE GRAND ARE COMMON PLACE TNE NAMES ARE UNIMPORTANT AS LONG AS THEY SERVE A DECENT BREW ..VIC BEER IS THE BEST, THOUGH OTHER STATES WILL TOTALLY DISAGREE WITH THAT GLASS SIZES ARE DIFFERENT TO IN VIC WE HAVE POTS AND GLASSES IN NSW THAY HAVE MIDIS, SCHOONERS,THE OTHER STATES DONT MATTER EXCEPT IN DARWIN IN THE NT THEY HAVE THE FAMOUS DARWIN STUBBIE WHICH IS 2 LITRES OF BEER SO A 6 PACK OF DARWIN STUBBIES WILL HAVE YOU DOING TECHNICOLOUR CHUNDERS NEXT MORN UNLESS YOU CAN HOLD YOUR **** GOOD..LOL....BUT BACK TO THE FIGHTS YES THEY HAVE EM ALL THE TIME I WOULD BE INTERESTED IN THE BLUE(FIGHTS)MAKING THE NEWS THERE CHEERS MATE :D

How could anyone drink pruno anyway? Half the time I caught someone making it, I found it in the toilet. That stuff has to be some of the nastiest stuff on earth. But I suppose prison makes you do weird things, boredom and all must be a factor.
