Do your facilities have policies, protocols, or lesson plans on cell extraction?
I was contacted off the NTOA board by a corrections lieutenant who needs a cell extraction lesson plan. I called over to county corrections assuming they would have what he was looking for. I was surprised to find that they did not.
If you have a lesson plan or protocol, I'd be interested in taking a look. Thanks and be safe.
I'll have to get back with you on this, as I'm not a member of our Detention Response Team, but I will see if I can find the policy we use and let you know.

In Ontario there are specialized CET TEAMS (cell extraction teams) They are trained specifically for that purpose. They apply for the position, have an interview, must pass a physical and train on a regular basis. There are also ICIT TEAMS (Institutional Crisis Intervention Teams) They are used for disturbances or riots ectera. If you think this would be helpful let me know and I can give you a contact name and number.
