I'm considering getting a Golani rifle. Specifically the Golani Sporter from Centruy Arms

Keyword there is Century Arms. I would be wary of buying any Century Arms products without prior examining it. Not saying that all Century Arms products are junk( they have great customer service) and that they will fail, just that I have seen and heard too many failure rates with their other guns not to feel that their Gailils won't have similar problems.
Unless you can inspect and test fire that particular rifle, I'd pass on it and do a search for Gailil rifles. They had a ton of part kits brought in before the barrel ban so they are out there.
Gailils are an amazing AK variant btw.

The Golani was not built by the trained chimps at Century that built crappy products. Instead, the Golani was contracted out much like the Yugo M70 AKs.
They are good rifles, but not quite the quality of original Galils. They use proprietary magazines, which is a huge turn-off to me.
