What does your explorer uniform look like? Does it look like your officers' uniforms or is it modified?

Do you have a special "uniform" for training or do you just wear whatever.

Our uniform consists of dark blue (...black) pants and a lighter colored blue top (not like paramedics!!!). Our shirt has dark blue eppaulets (sp?) and pockets. Our pants have a blue stripe running down the outside seems, resembling the officers.

Our training "uniform" consists of black boots, black BDU's, and a customized gray shirt for our post (looks pretty good).

Uniform is exactly like officers...used to have blue emt looking shirts with dark navy pants but we're in the ordering process of dark navy shirts also. Got sick of being called hospital security and regardless of the color people still thought we were cops...also no seperate training as we barely ever do training as in PT (people just wear their gym clothes when we do PT)

Plano Law Enforcement Explorer Post is a little bit modified...we have 3 different uniforms(Class B, Class A, and Class A Dress)
- Class B consists of black boots, black BUD's, & a grey t-shirt with the writing "Plano Explorer" in blue letters on the back.
- Our Class A uniform consists of black boots, black trousers with a 1 inch grey strip down the side, & a grey button down, short-sleeve shirt. The shirt has an exact replica patch of the police that says "Explorer" on the sleeves, & an Explorer patch for a badge.
- The Class A Dress is the same thing as the Class A except it is a long-sleeve shirt & with a black tie.

The Class A & Class A Dress uniform eppaulets depend on what team or squad you're in. In the Gold Team, everyone including the team's sergeant has Godl(yellow) eppaulets, & it's the same for the Blue Team. The Captain(me) & the Lieutenant have white eppaulets. The officers(captain, lieutenant, sergeant, and sergeant) of the post, also wear shirt insignia. All the insignia's are gold plated except the captain's (which is silver plated).

We usually wear our Class A to every meeting, but when we do training like handcuffing, and like saturday things...we use Class B. We only wear Class A Dress for ceremonies or very important events.

G.I. Cop,

So ya'll wear uniforms every meeting? What do you do at each meeting?

99% of the time we wear our training gear. We usually have classroom then have scenarios (practicals).

Then of course we wear our uniforms whenever we make presentations or work at events...

To chip in dunno if you care or not but in our post uniforms are supposed to be worn at eveyr meeting or event unless it's PT and we'll specifically request that don't have any bd's or what not would like to have the option of wearing dark navy cargo pants though so does anyone know of a good type of shorts/bdu style?...

Well, we wear our Class A to every Tuesday meeting & we wear our Class B only to some Tuesday meetings that include like Handcuffing, or something dirty & occasionally on like some saturday practices. During our Tuesday meetings we take care of the classroom business, and then we learn about the scenario(tactics, etc). The saturday practices cover the training we had during the Tuesdays.

For meetings and competitions, we wear our class B uniform. For special occasions, we wear our class a uniform.
