Port Authority

This may be a silly question, but I can't find any info online regarding the Port Authority and their tests...it seems as though the last test was in 2007?

Anyone have any info regarding the hiring process for the Port Authority...I take it they don't have written tests every so often like the NYPD?

Any info would be helpful!

you would be waiting for a while ..... maybe till 2011 for this agency, try something else for now

You will be waiting alot longer then 2011. The exam is pass/fail so if you pass you still may never be called its all a lotto. I took the 2007 and havent heard anything, I dont even think they have called anyone for around a year now (havent heard of anyone getting called recently) Also they are very strict with hiring. So i wouldent count on it. Just take the test and hope for the best. 2011 sounds right.

They just had 3 classes come out in the past 2 years. Last test was a year ago and guys got called already and on the job...

I just came out of the last class and was hired off the 07 list, werd is PA over hired and no one is going to retire for a while and when they do start hiring again they will exhaust the 07 list
