Hey all

I am a 33 year old Police Officer from Aberdeen in Scotland, looking to make acquaintances from similar folk across the pond in the US and Canada.

I have 4 1/2 yrs service and deal with sudden deaths, licensing and prostitution in my role with my force.

I have never visited the US or Canada but would love to at some time in the future, maybe when my young family are a bit older.

Thanks for reading - if you have any questions about policing etc in Scotland, feel free to ask!

All the best
Jon

Hi, Jon!

It's great to hear from a fellow law enforcement officer from across the pond. My name is Kurt, and I work with the U.S. Border Patrol in Tucson, Arizona.

By the way, the official U.S. Border Patrol tartan, worn by our "pipers" is officially registered in Scotland, and it's an honor that we in the Border Patrol take seriously.

Say "hi" to your fellow officers in Aberdeen for me. We all wear the badge, and despite our nationalities, we're all brethren.

Jon, if you ever get the chance, I'd love to trade patches with you. I'd be willing to send you a U.S. Border Patrol patch AND a Dept. of Homeland Security patch if you are able to spare an Aberdeen police patch. If you're interested, send me an IM, and I'll send you my address.

Stay safe,

Kurt
