On Friday evening, the offices of Freedom Is Not Free were burglarized by people posing as employees of their janitorial service. It was a well-thought out scam, as she actually emptied and removed trash from garbage cans before stealing two laptop computers and a TV.

Disgusting. Reminds me of an murder that happened near me this past winter...a Meals on Wheels delivery guy was robbed at gunpoint and shot inside the stairwell of a public housing building. Who robs the Meals on Wheels guy? It's not even like robbing a Chinese food delivery guy, who might have cash on him...Meals on Wheels doesn't collect anything from the people they deliver food to!

The big theory on it was that it wasn't even much of a robbery, more of a "gang initiation" thing - shoot someone, and we'll let you join our gang. Even more disgusting.
