Safariland "Nylon Look" finish?

I've noticed quite a few people complain about the durability of Safarilaminate. I just recently discovered the 090 Cuff pouches and am intrigued. I was wondering what people think about the "Nylon Look" finish. Is the durability of this better than the basketweave or other finishes? I've only had my nylon look 6280 about a year and don't see any problems with it (yet).

It's my understanding that most of the problems with Safarilaminate are related to instances of it cracking along 'bends'....such as the rollover male portion of thumbsnaps on holsters, the 'hinge' area of cuff cases, etc., which sees a lot of flexing. Your 6280 has no such areas.
