Federal BOP question

Hello, I havejust finished an application for the Federal BOP. I was a CO, then turned Police Officer now looking to go back. Can anyone tell me some info or their expirience with the Federal level ( length of time for the process, placement, etc...)

It depends on which facility you applied for, but then again I put in for 2 high need areas and got picked up by a low security that doesn't hire very often. I took 6 months from application to start for me. Also I qualified for a 6 and they wouldn't give it to me because they did not have the funding for it. Let me know any specifics you wanna know.
