Does anyone know if there is Crossfit equipment at FLETC? (Bumper Plates, kettlebells, rings, etc...) I'm just curious. I know they had a Crossfit level one cert there some time last year. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I'll be at FLETC from Aug. to Jan.

They have all that stuff. Many of the instructors are very into Crossfit so expect to be doing a lot of it in PT.

Ten four. That's perfect. That's what I was hoping to hear. I just recently put together a Crossfit gym in my garage at home, and I'll be abandoning it for a few months.

So I'm assuming that these PT instructors got certified during the cert that was held there last year?? I'm just wondering. I think it's something I'd be interested in doing in the future...becoming a Crossfit coach as part of being a PT instructor at FLETC.

I attended the LMPT program and all we did for the 18 weeks was Crossfit, it was really good stuff.

Land Management police training, those are the guys you will most likely see running around at FLETC in Camo head to toes.

Land Management Depts.

U.S. TVA Police
U.S. Forest Service
U.S. Fish and Wildlife
Bureau Of Land management
National Park Service

There may be a another or two, but I havent heard them much, US Park Police use to be in the Program and from what I heard the switched to UPTP (uniformed police training program)

Good deal. Congrats. I'm going to try to hit a cert in Jacksonville in December while I'm at FLETC. I'm looking forward to it.

They had the giant tractor tire when I left in July, but it was always locked up.
