View Full Version : How Are Exam Scores Calculated?
Hi, i took exam 8051 and got my scores back, i would like to know how the scores are calculated because i would like to send a letter of appeal since i get a higher grade every time i calculate the scores myself.
Also, are the 5 residence points added in the final average?
I apologize if this have been posted, i tried to search but couldn't find what i was looking... Thank You!
Wait! lol, one more question, how many times can i take the entry exam? i passed 8051 but i'm seeking a higher score...

Are you talking about the score you get immediately after you finish taking a walk-in exam? If so, the residency points aren't added in until you get the final score from DCAS.

Im talking about the score you get in mail.
In that case, the residency points are already added in.
I took the exam a couple of years ago. When I took it, I could hand write my test answers on a piece of paper given to me by DCAS to compare with the correct answers that were to be posted online at a later date. Don't know if that's how things are still done. If it is, you should compare your answers with what is posted online and then follow the protest procedures given on the sheet of paper you wrote your answers on.
Good luck.
