I've heard Safariland makes one, but I am unable to locate it on their website and Gall's is of no help, either. Ideas?

I have a 6280 from Safariland. I love it. I have had it a few months now. It's a little
big but I still like it. It's great not worrying about taking the light off or putting it back on. Call Craig's Firearms http://www.craigsfirearms.com in Knoxville and ask for Wally. He will give you a great price on one. If your in a big hurry try Galls. As far as a picture of one, I don't know where you will find one online. I tried and never did. I just ordered one.
Don't regret it a bit. Safariland has pics of them in there latest catalog. You might e
mail them for one.

The Safariland 6004 tactical thigh holster is an excellent rig for use with an M3/weapon combo. It utilizes their "SLS" retention system which is very fast and very positive with only a little bit of practice.
The same holster is available as a duty holster (model 6280) although I'm not certain that it's available in an M3 configuration.
You can check them out here... http://www.safariland.com/sls.htm
BTW, Safariland doesn't show a pic of the holster with the M3 light on the website, but they definitely make it. I love mine!

An update...I just went to the "will fit" section of the Safariland site and they show both the duty holster and the tactical holster as being available for the Glock with M3 light attached. http://www.safariland.com/willfit_data/duty_gear/pistols/colt_heck.htm

I need one for my DUTY belt, not a 'tactical' rig.
Thanks for the input, though.

The 6280 SLS holster is available for Glocks with the M3 light. It's a special order holster. It's what I use, along with the 6000-1 hood guard attachment. A nice package. It secures the weapon regardless of whether the light is attached to the gun or not. I think I paid about $130 for mine.

The Safariland 6280 is available in most of the finishes. I have the Safariland dealer catalog and the holster is listed as available for the Glock pistols with M3. They now also make the holster for the full size 17/22 or the compact 19/23. I recentyl got the SLS for my 23 and I think it's a great holster.

Gulf States Police Dist. in Montgomery, AL have the 6280 holster in several finishes. Give them a call 1-800-223-7869 and ask for Connie Marlow (tell her Bobby Inman sent you). Connie has always gone out of her way to help me and get it shipped the same day. The holster runs $95.00.
Be Safe Out There.
