Has anyone heard of any problems with the Streamlight M-3 Tactical Light. Problems such as handgun malfunctions????

I've heard of them jamming Glocks before on a few occasions...

We have 30 of them on my teams Glock 22's and a few (3 or 4) had some failure to feed type problems. We picked up heavier replacement springs from Glock (the city of Smyrna is in our county and is Glocks HQ) and have had no problems since, Except getting the last round into the magazine. I've lost some thumb skin.

We have solved the problem on glock 22 and 35 models by using wolf extra power magazine springs, and by using 180 grain practice ammo the 165 grain gold dot duty load has no problem keeping the gun running. I look at it this way the malfunctions with PRACTICE ammo do not bother me they are a good practical chance to practice malfunction clearance drills. The guns need to be 100% reliable with the duty ammo and our seem to be we have not had a failure in training with the duty ammo.

Makes me wonder what we can expect with their new M6 light/laser unit that's coming out.
