I know the whole 10-1 thing but were there that many people who did not pass the agility that they are already processing another group?

I was in a group of 50 people - about 35 passed. There were probably about 250+ people there all together. I don't know how the other groups did. The PAT in Rockland is good for two years so they probably just want to get it out of the way.

EnWhyPeeDee,
what was your list number?
what did they tell you after the agility test? (did they go into your background check yet? I think thats the next step.)
What is a PAT?

Mine was supposed to be on 10/5 also but I crossfiled my PAT, physical agility test, from another county so I didn't have to do it again. 35 out of 50 doesn't seem to be too bad, when I took my PAT there was 25+ my group and 10 or so passed.
The 10-1 rule, as I understand it, is they have to process 10 candidates to get 1 suitable person. Some say its for the PAT, others say its for the whole process.

I don't like that 10-1 rule. That means you have about a 10% chance of being hired even after getting called.
Wonder what the 9 out of 10 most common reason for not getting hired is. According to those PAT numbers, sounds like that might be the majority.
or at least 4 or 5 out of 10 candidates.
I'm training now for the run, I can do the sit ups and push ups no problem.
