Exam # 8120 for NYPD

I am curious to know how many of us took exam # 8120 and are still waiting to get in. When I spoke with my B.I. last January (2009), she advised me that it would be a minimum of one year before I would be called for the academy if all else goes well. She explained that it wasn't necessarily due to the pay increase but to the fact that because of the economy, not as many cops were retiring that needed to be replaced. I'm sure other things affected it to but that was the biggie.

I am curious to know how many others took exam# 8120 and are waiting to get in or have heard anything. Thanks.
