The upcoming braodcast for the Patrol School slated to start early August has been iced....:mad::confused::eek: and so on...

I was set to work a double (which blows) and thought, meh...at least the breakup comes out. I should be on it!!!!!

Meanwhile, mother green has other ideas....

A riot breaks out five minutes into shift, a trainee losses his mind....No worries, the breakup will be here 'round 1600HRs.

Ahhh, check the email cuz it's been busy....10 minutes til count/shift change....

BAAaaaAAaaH!!! yadda yadda yadda - canceled until further notice.

Welcome to my world, man. We've been hearing crap about this merger for the longest time now. It's always 2 months away. When the next RUMORED deadline approaches, it's canceled for some stoopid reason and it's 2 months away again. I gave up on it. It's not going to happen.

A month or so ago I spoke to an executive from the County Police at a dinner (sorry, don't remember his name). He said that he thought that in light of budget issues the merger with LASD was unlikely to occur.

We got an email by our ops dep stating the break up will occur on July 1st, and that the patrol school will go as scheduled.

Cruz, I heard the same (rumor, I thought). The problem is, now the list will be updated and I will most likely be bumped a few slots. In addition to the female one for one deal, that means more side line time for me. Oh well. Things could be worse...I just wanted to vent.
