I am interested in obtaining a low ride holster similar to the ones worn by L.A.P.D. Officers. I do have a swivel holster but it is not of the same brand that they wear.I appreiciate any responses!!!!

HA! Finally! I love those old swivel holsters too!! Not the clamshells, but the drop swivels are kinda cool!

I wouldn't use one for duty, but I gotta love 'em.

I knew a deputy once that had been around so long that he was "grandfathered" and allowed to still carry his .45 long colt in a swivel clamshell holster. He was so oldschool that he still put one hand on his hip and fired with one hand. http://www.officer.com/ubb/biggrin.gif hit everything he aimed at too!!

I don't know of anyone who still makes these, though, you might want to try calling some of the leather manufacturers to ask about a custom order.
